Sport fishing lake

The sport fishing lake was built a few years ago.
It was made through the use of a special plastic sheet that guarantees the waterproofing of the reservoir. The contribution of the Ripolaia ditch also keeps the lake level constant
during the summer period. It has a rectangular shape with an average depth of 2.5 m. The dimensions are 175 x 35 m. The didactic tank, on the other hand, is much smaller (15 x 5 m). The reservoir provides for both capture and release fishing and the possibility of taking away the captured specimens (previously euthanized, as provided for in Art. 12). The lake (or part of it) can be made available to fishing companies that intend to carry out competitive events after agreement with the managers of the lake.
There is also a reception-ticket office with vending machines for food and drinks and a small rental of fishing equipment.

The lake is located along the provincial road S. Biagio in loc. Pescina in the municipality of Seggiano (GR).
