The Val d’Orcia extends from the slopes of the Amiata to Siena and takes its name from the Orcia river that crosses it. It has become a Unesco World Heritage Site and is rich in important and characteristic villages such as Pienza, San Quirico d’Orcia, Montalcino. Visiting the Val d’Orcia means taking a journey through the rolling hills, the art and history of the area and typical products such as Brunello di Montalcino and pecorino di Pienza. Furthermore, the area is rich in thermal waters that have made famous places such as Bagno Vignoni and Bagni di San Filippo.
